China-Russia High-level Think Tank Forum Opens in Moscow

The China-Russia High-level Think Tank Forum was held in Moscow from June 1 to 2 to mark the 30th anniversary of the two countries’ comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese Foreign Minister, sent a congratulatory letter to the forum. Participants discussed global geopolitical security, energy trade and high-tech industrial cooperation. The two countries confirmed the continuation of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation to deepen comprehensive strategic coordination. Consensus was reached on joint AI research and lifting the ratio of local currency settlement in bilateral energy trade.
