Jensen Huang Announces New Computing Platform Supply Chain at Taipei Tech Summit

At the Taipei Technology Summit in May, Jensen Huang unveiled the supplier list for Nvidia’s new-generation computing platform. Samsung secured multiple orders for advanced chip manufacturing and matching high-bandwidth memory, with mass production scheduled for the third quarter. The new platform boasts far stronger performance than previous versions and will fuel the construction of cloud-based AI servers worldwide. Samsung is tasked with chip production on 7nm and more advanced processes as well as supporting HBM3e output. Huang noted the global AI construction boom will keep advanced wafer foundry capacity tight for years to come.
